The Geoscience and Earth Monitoring Sector provides authoritative science, data, and regulatory expertise to protect Canadians from natural and technological hazards, ensure safety and security, and support sustainable resource development.Through cutting-edge geoscience, mapping, monitoring, and oversight, we enable evidence-based decision-making, advance climate and energy priorities, and reinforce Canada's sovereignty at home and abroad.
