Mandate:
Provides advice and assistance, both at the corporate and sector levels, with regard to resource allocation, financial analysis, cost recovery and corporate cost allocation, grants and contributions, Treasury Board submissions and Cabinet documents, ad hoc financial reports, and other management initiatives; provides the accounting, controlling and reporting of expenditures, revenues and accounts receivable; and implements and maintains financial policies, systems and procedures to meet departmental needs.
